Miss Pucci Perfume: Drag Queens, May The Fight Over This Name Commence
'Tis young and fresh, so any fears of old-ladyness are null and void

Not only does Miss Pucci make an excellent name for a drag queen — Miss Pucci, if you’re out there, HAY GURL! TWERQUE IT OUT! — or a precious little Maltipoo, but it’s also one of our favorite new fall fragrances.
Born of the Italian designer known for his Prince-like predilection for paisleys and psychedelic swirls and other Charles Nelson Reilly-esque displays of colorful histrionics that’d give Lilly Pulitzer a mild coronary (think, the Cinema Italiano scene from Nine, but even brighter), Miss Pucci is a sparkling pink burst of intensely refreshing fruity florals. magnolia and Sicilian winter lemon and orange blossom dominate, while white musk, thankfully, does not.
Interestingly, while Miss Pucci is a crisp, tart, slightly spicy fragrance, there’s a nice delicate balance here, and a welcome lack of sicky, icky sweetness. Seriously, it’s just such a happy fragrance that carefree dancing fruit busting into a little conga line comes to mind. (Or maybe we just sprayed a little too much and tripped a bit. Happens.) The sensation here is like someone bottled Lucille Ball’s classic Carmen Miranda impersonation. With a little bit of Charo flair. But seriously, this is a young, fresh fragrance (“Miss,” remember?) so any fears of old-ladyness are null and void. Your Grandma’s Pucci this is not. No disrespect to your gran, of course!
