Every so often an item comes along that basically everyone admires, as is the case with our recent acquisition of the All Saints Joanie wedge sandal. Although it's heel is five inches, the height is truly manageable (apart from walking along sloped, gravelly grass when you may need help, like we did at the All Saints/ Jelly NYC show last week!), and the suede-meets-espadrille thing is the kind of city chic-beach genius that we are forever seeking. The chalk-colored ones have attracted many polite inquiries, and are a perfect leg-elongating alternative to nude-colored shoes which, if you wear gray or silver, are quite simple banned. We also got the darker charcoal version which look rad with ankle socks (we took our own advice). The best part? They’re on sale at half price right now! Get ‘em while it’s hot.
