Our Favorite Party Of The Moment Is A Ghetto Goth Thing Every Other Wednesday
Like to drink and pose and drink among musicians, artists, fashionistas, bums and skaters? Then this is the party for YOU

Imagine Marilyn Manson wearing a purple weave and Lee press-on nails. That would be ghetto-goth. What else is ghetto gothic? It just so happens to be our favorite party of the moment. At Gallery Bar on Orchard Street, GHE20 GOTHIK is every other Wednesday (we’d never go any other time, to be honest) and is sort of like what Misshapes used to be if you remember that crazy hipster party where Madonna came to DJ for like a hot sec. The funny thing is, GHE20 GOTHIK is not really ghetto and it’s not really goth. It's a fun dance party that attracts the like of musicians, artists, fashionistas, bums, skaters and those who like to drink and dance and pose and drink.
Anyway, this party used to happen only in the basement but now it’s taken over the top level too because, you know, one hipster tells another who tells another. You’ll never see so many black-framed glasses in your life. It’s super-diverse, too, like gay and straight, black and white, real people and zombie. Oh, and if you’re the inventive type, try to create like a portable lid for your cocktail glass because this party gets crowded and wild and you’ll be wearing your booze instead of drinking it. And we hate to see such good liquids go to waste. Wednesdays (every other) are the new Saturdays!
